I’ve been wearing these for little under a week and I couldn’t understand why my ears were getting infected again and again, turns out these earrings are super cheap (tho they’re bein sold expensive!) and the paint has been pealing off on my earholes the whole time!!
So far I haven’t been too hurt by this but this could really be a problem for some people esp since I don’t know what exactly is in the paint!
What’s worse is the type I’m wearing was advertized as SNAKE BITES so this woulda come off in some poor persons mouth!!

Headcanon that in their pre-Garnet days, it was really hard for these teeny gems on homeworld, they REALLY don’t get along with other gems. Ruby’s too much of an aggressive hot-head and Sapphire is too self-reliant and withdrawn.
They have amazing core strengths, so that may have made them stand out to the higher-ups. They probably got paired up together, being they’re “unbalanced”, weaker gems (seriously, it’s striking to me that they’re the only two gems so far that don’t have their gems fixed in a central position on their body), much to the other’s displeasure.
I du n n o I just have this feeling ever since Garnet’s advice to Jamie that they probably didn’t have a “love at first sight” meeting.
