Like they’re just going along trying to do this puzzle thing, but it’s not going very well, but they trust that their omniscient guide will figure it out.
And then out of nowhere they hear either this ungodly banging sound or the loud screeching sounds of whatever keys were hit.
And they’re just like “Was that who I think it was?”
I can explain! Rn in Japan they have this thing 壁ドン (kabedon, literally “wall thump”): when a dude slams his hand on the wall by a girl to keep her caged there with his arm. It’s supposed to be hella manly and sexy, but really people just meme the hell out of it, like the above.
It’s such a creepy thing to do that all this mockery of it is exceptionally satisfying
