Artist Paints the Universe and Nature into Black Women’s Hair
Pierre Jean-Louis is a multimedia artist based in New York and Philadelphia, who has built up quite a social media following as a result of his unique works. Jean-Louis paints mystical images of the universe and nature onto images of Black women’s natural hair. His intricate works feature flowers, vines, and even an entire forest, all seamlessly woven into coils and kinks. Jean-Louis even invites his followers to tag him in their photos on Instagram so that he can consider their portraits as well.

Whew, wanted to shade these but I doubt I got so lazy ;__;
Anyhow, here is a few character designs for my Undertale AU Underkeep! Mettaton rules the underground (not following the neutral ending though), and everyone we know is appointed to a position of sorts in this fantasy land like place:
Frisk – The Hero
Papyrus – Second in command of the Royal Guard
Sans – The Royal Jester/Overseer of Snowdin
Muffet – Duchess of the Spiders/Royal Baking Specialist
Mettaton – High King
Alphys – Marquess of Hotland/Royal Scientist
Undyne – Baroness of Waterfell/Head of the Royal Guard
Hopefully I can get the other characters done soon as well! Also, everyone’s outfit is (hopefully) reminiscent of their location and/or title (Alphys represents fire, Undyne represents water, etc)…
undertale patch changes & additions
i’m gonna need this later but this might be helpful to other research people.
- some new strings (sans’ lab, burgerpants arc, papyrus’ attack)
- abc_123.ogg changed to laughter (same voices as original)
- ‘joke sprites’
- monster stats altered
- temmie CHECK text changed
- other string changes (mtt CHECK/stats, minor true lab entry change, random pyrope string?)
- apparently sans’ fight dialogue is faster when you “die too many times” i’m laughing – the ‘repeat dialogue’ is different
- a few more clam npc strings about suzy
- grandpa temi (reference to grandpa semi?)
- new data.win is not decompilable w/ any existing programs
- false that asriel is not at the beginning of the ruins in the true paci victory lap. it’s not a glitch; if you’ve already met him there, prior to a true reset iirc, he will not appear. this is not an update.
notes/reminders to self:
- add new sans lab strings to theory web/three scientists theory on steam guide.
- make joke sprite the new @newtimetravelersguidetoundertale icon. also blog icon, maybe.
- is papyrus’ non-bone attack gaster blaster/similar?
- seems like suzy isn’t meant to be met.
- check .ini later. complete neutral run w/ underwatch running? maybe reset.
