i find ‘wait for it’ hilarious because apparently Burr’s entire philosophy in life is “I can be master of my own self, but some things are beyond my control. life and death. love, my past, forces of nature. and Hamilton, I also cannot control Hamilton.”
even hamilton can’t control hamilton

I don’t know why I’m getting so emotional here. Maybe because I miss the show ever so much. Maybe it’s the callback to the beginning of their story.
Maybe it’s because in “Laser Light Cannon” they were reliant on Rose’s power or brute force alone and look now. Look at Alexandrite’s cohesion. It continues the motif: where once she stood, they stand. Together. United.
Before, in so many ways, Rose gathered them under the shield of her being. She was their core, their greatest power. Now? Now the bond between them is their strongest weapon.
This is the sentiment I got: rather than rely on her, they now look within themselves for the strength they need.
you can love villains and anti-heroes and antagonists without justifying their behaviour, You don’t have to make up excuses for the horrible shit they do. It’s totally fine to love these characters as they are, to accept the ugly parts of them- that doesn’t mean that you agree with the choices they make, it just means that you happen to love complex and three dimensional individuals.
