What the fuck is going on in Michigan bro

I started out this semester teaching my students about Flint, and then about situations like Flint across the country in discussions about access to water and healthy situations in the US for my composition course.

We ended up moving on, because it was a spur of the moment thing – though I did have some students write about the situation for their essays.

I guess I’m gonna close out the semester with Flint, too. Had a lot of students ask why people don’t speak out about stuff like this. So I get to do some fact-checking, but the results will probably be disheartening for me and my students.

I’m a big fan of Nostalgia Critic and Channel Awesome, and if I wasn’t half-asleep, I would have shared this video when I first watched it yesterday, because it’s god damn important and we need to stand with the content creators we love.
