I love garnet when you think about it upon rose giving up her physical form she had to go from cool and laid back member of the crystal gems to their leader, having to still maintain her cool and trying to be strong for pearl and amethyst too who undoubtedly took rose’s death way worse than she did (or well i bet she suffered just the same but didn’t show it for the group’s sake).

she had to be so strong and hold back so much and still to this day she struggles so much because she knows if she showed weakness the whole group’s balance would suffer from it she is so incredible i love garnet.
