I really like how Garnet phrased her thoughts on fusion as “letting your body turn to light and finding someone you trust with that light”. Fusion is literally letting your guards, mental and physical, break down and merge with that of another. What you are is an open book and vice versa and you are in a union of trust and intimacy strong enough to become one and that’s so beautiful to me?? stop w the whole gem sex thing like yeah right
