Can we just talk about Joseph? I don’t mean Jesus’ earthly father I mean Joseph; Jacob’s son, one of the tribes etc. He was SOLD by his BROTHERS.. betrayed. I can’t help but think of Christ when I read Joseph’s story. To think despite being sold by his brothers, becoming a slave, being accused a crime he did not do, thrown in jail for said crime, being forgotten etc. God raised him up to be just below Pharaoh. That is SO cool. Not only that but:

“But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.”

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭50:20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Despite what his brothers did he forgives them. He doesn’t hold it over them because he recognized that what they meant for evil God meant for good.

Honestly I LOVE this story and highly suggest reading it if you haven’t already, or even if you have. It starts from about Genesis 37 on until the end of Genesis.

I agree! It’s a lovely story and incredibly encouraging, a good reminder too 🙂

An Oscar y Felipe Coco Fic

[This is a giveaway prize for @angelmihe who requested a lighthearted fic of teenage Oscar and Felipe babysitting their little niece Coco.]

“But Imelda, we were going to work on our new project today!” Oscar said, looking up from the workbench.

“We don’t have time to watch Coco, you can’t just suddenly throw off all our plans like that!” Felipe finished, setting down his freshly drawn leather pattern.

The teenage twins looked pleadingly at their older sister as she draped a thin purple shawl over her shoulders. Imelda was unimpressed, as usual.

Happy New Year + Contest Winner

im-fairly-whitty:

Congrats you guys, you survived 2017, no small feat I assure you! May we all stick together and look out for one another this coming year.

Also congrats to @angelmihe , winner of the giveaway drawing! If you aren’t angelmihe (which regrettably is statistically likely) don’t despair, I’ll be doing another giveaway when I reach my next follower landmark.

If you’re too impatient for that, you can always either commission me or throw ideas/headcanon at me and hope they stick in my brain long enough to compel me to write them (which given my track record lately is also surprisingly likely, but hardly guaranteed).

Hope you all get some sleep and enjoy the rest of whatever holiday break you may or may not be having. Always remember in this coming year that you are valuable and worth it, and that the world needs YOU.

Cheers and Happy New Years,

– Wit

Hi! This is Angelmation from FF! So, you don’t have to answer, but I would still like to ask. I’ve been reading “S is for Shovel and K is for Knight” for a while now, and I have grown somewhat attached to a certain German subordinate. I really want to know, are you going to kill him? Again, if you wish not to tell, don’t feel inclined to. (Also, I would like to say that I really love your writing. Keep up the amazing work, and don’t stress yourself out!)

Hi! Nice to see ya! ( ^.^)/
I’m not surprised you have grown attached to Albrecht – a lot of people are, haha. I myself have grown attached to him as well. Maybe because it’s the experience I have that mirrors his story (some personal stuff happened) or maybe it’s my affinity for German! He actually started out as a joke character… and he just… developed xD

To say whether he’ll live or not is actually a bit spoiler heavy. But since I am awesome I will give you hints! Hopefully you’ll get some theories going.

– If you pay enough attention to my use of words and themes, I have been foreshadowing stuff (some of which are still coming up in future chapters because, well, most of the arcs are not necessarily in chronological order)
– Albrecht has a prominent lisp and a strong accent when speaking in English despite having intensive practice in French. He changes th’s to z’s.
– Z is the 26th letter in the English alphabet, which has 26 letters.
– He is Propeller Knight’s very loyal best friend and so he will stick with Propeller Knight and defend until, well, he dies. (”Ich werde ihn schützen bis ich sterbe” back in M is for marriage basically had him announce this epically)
– Propeller Knight cares a lot for his crew and treats them like family.

And with that, I leave speculation rolling! Thank you for reading my stuff! You also reminded me of the characterization posts I planned on making that were scrapped when I was down with flu. Happy reading!

Thank you for responding! It means a lot ^u^

Thank you for the hints! I’ll definitely, be looking through them and considering everything to figure out something. These are pretty cryptic, but that won’t discourage me, and undoubtedly others, from trying to figure out something. Also, if I’m honest, I’m actually glad you didn’t directly answer the question. It’s worth the wait.

Have a lovely day! 🙂
