-PLEASE DO READ THIS POST-

This is my first time posting in my blog, somehow feels weird.

But this situation must be communicated.

I’m a UNAM student.

If you don’t know UNAM university, it’s supposed to be the best university in Mexico and Latinoamerica.

This university is public, my tuition is just 50 cent per year, the university aslo has autonomy from the government, because of this no policmen or military can enter to the UNAM instalations, so UNAM have its own Private Security.

Right now almost ALL the students comunity is in a strike caused because all the violent situation that have been taking place outsite and inside of its intalations.

Last year two policemen attacked a ENP studient, they ruined his life, has I know this guy has permanent brain damage.

One student from CCH disappeared, another one kidnapped and later found burned.

A CCH principal demanding money to students when she has no right to do it.

And other situations that have been forgotten through the time.

Two students from ENP6 and Phylosophy School on critical state in diferent hospitals after being attacked on Pacific manifestationthat took place last monday inside the CU campus.

There’s rumors about the UNAM authorities sending violent organisations to stop this manifestation through attacks to the students comunity.

Authorities are not doing something to change this situation.

Has a comunity we are tired of not being listened, this situation must change.

Today all the school in strike are doing a meeting in front of the Authority Building to demand better security in the instalations.

Other universities of the country have expressed theirs solidarity towars the UNAM comunity decision.

All of them are afraid of being hurt, but the will to make a change is stronger than fear.

WARNING!!!!

People, please be careful. There are also people tracking children and people and putting bids on them based on their profile pictures on whatsapp, tracking and kidnapping them. Especially young children, so please be cautious, especially parents who have their children as their profile pictures.

Please pass this on to everyone so that they are aware of the danger. I don’t how it is all around the world but I know it can’t just be here so please please spread the word. Thank you.

Fanart

  • if you like something, reblog it. Help the artist get their work out there in front of more people. Share the joy that it brought you.
  • if you want more of it, support it. This can be via commissions, reblogs, recommending the artist to other people, shouting in the tags, or sending the artist asks/messages.
  • if you hate it, keep scrolling. Keep the hate in a message window with a friend, not in the artist’s notes.
  • if you want to use it, ask permission. Artwork is beautiful and you want to show it off. But please ask the artist before you throw it into your header or your icon.
  • if you use it, give credit. And not just a post where you say “Do you like my new icon? X made it!”. Put it in your blog description, that way when someone rolls around your blog three months from now, they also know where your icon/header came from.

Fanfic

  • if you like something, reblog it. Help the author get their work out there in front of more people. Share the joy that it brought you.
  • if you want more of it, support it. Kudos are fine, but if you want more of the thing you like, you should comment. Subscribe to the story or the author. Send them a message about how much you like what they wrote.
  • if you read it, kudos it. Or give it a thumbs up. And this is just if you managed to get all the way to the end. If you finished the story and you actually liked it? Comment and reblog.
  • don’t demand content. Be patient. Stories take time. You can encourage without being demanding. Show your love for what’s there without telling them to post more often.
  • be gentle with criticism. Some people want it and some people run away from it. If you don’t know what type of person the author is, it’s best not to go there. “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything.”

Fandom

  • ship and let ship. You love your ship and other people love theirs. No one needs to “win” when we’re all going to end up in tears anyway.
  • if you hate it, stay out of the tag. This has two meanings: 1) don’t deliberately put hateful commentary in a tag and 2) if you  hate a tag, don’t go and read through that tag just to make yourself angry
  • if someone makes you something, appreciate it. Read and comment the fic. Like and reblog the artwork. Pimp it out and tell them how much you loved it. It’s a gift, treat it like one.
  • if it’s a gift, put some effort into it. You signed up for that exchange three months ago and now it’s a week before you have to send the gift and you don’t have the time or the inclination to do the thing. Well too bad. Someone out there has been working hard in your gift, so you should do the same for them.
  • none of us are “better” than anyone else. We’re all trash for our particular show/film/book/ship/artist/what-have-you. My fave is no better than yours and yours is no better than mine.
  • actors are not their characters. They are people. Treat them like people.

Not on my own account, but writers I know have been on the receiving end of more unwarranted and plain rude crap than usual lately…

Mollie Tibbetts & Nia Wilson,  Unnecessary Deaths!

Nia’s death is not important because a White Man did it.  Oh, Yea, she is also a Woman Of Color, … sorry, forgot that part.

Phroyd

Its because crime happens in our country all the time; that sick man was American and as much as we hate it, murder happens in our country.

The man who killed Mollie had no right being in our country. That’s why her story got more news.

Why are you making it seem like one death is more valuable than another?

Both need to be mourned. It doesn’t matter who killed them, they’re dead. Mourn for them, pray for their families.

What is really upsetting is that OP is acting like them saying this is displaying some kind of justice against the ‘Republicans’ who are using Mollies death for political gain, meanwhile op is doing the exact same thing.

This isnt something we should trivialize and politicize. It is a CRIME and a TRAGEDY.

Again please pray for the families and mourn for them. Both for Nia and Mollie.

please.

That is the exact spot my parents found a stray kitten. Nice little addition to the family, but would have been a terrible addition to the pavement had she not been very vocal OTL

No joke, the place where that cat is resting in this picture is called a “dead cat hole” it’s an automotive term.  Don’t believe me, look it up.

This is also where I found a stray cat, she was up in there during a thunderstorm and I begged my dad to let me being her inside and that’s the story of how I got my first cat.

Please don’t skip over this without reading it and making a mental note. Even if you don’t have a car, tell your parents or whoever, and make sure to do this. You think that’ll never happen but that’s what everyone thought who had this happen and didn’t check, and that poor cold cat met with a terribly sad end.

Gather round kids while I explain this manipulation tactic that men perpetually try to use and why it’s bullshit.

If someone is openly showing interest in you by making disparaging or disappointed comments about your age, they’re trying to put you on the defensive. This guy wants me to try to quell his discomfort, to bring up that I’m only a month shy of 20, etc. – he wants me to try to prove myself to him, that I’m mature and adult enough for a man like him.

His goal is to establish a power imbalance right off the bat. If we were to date, I would constantly be on the defensive, constantly striving to be an equal, constantly trying to prove my “adult” credentials. Anything he says or does or wants from this point on that I object to would just be seen as a strike against my age, proof that he was right and that I’m not mature enough for him. This is how SO MANY men pressure younger individuals (primarily women and girls) into situations and relationships they aren’t comfortable with. If he truly thought I was too young for him, he wouldn’t have messaged me. This is a very calculated move, and it’s fucking gross.

Adult relationships with age gaps are completely fine, but only if all parties view each other as equals. If someone is trying to set you up in a way that ensures that’s never a possibility, run far away.

READ THIS SERIOUSLY READ THIS ^^^^^^^^^^^^

This this this.

Reblogged for the commentary.

This is really important because I think that educating about power imbalances and how to spot that manipulation is a lot better than saying “young people don’t date older people”. I had people use this kind of tactic on me when I was 18/19 as well and it is really damaging.

Borders are violence.

His name’s Frank Gonzalez and information on where this all went down can be found here: www.washingtonpost.com/amphtml/news/post-nation/wp/2018/07/28/immigrant-girl-hides-in-auto-shop-after-escaping-attendants-from-florida-detention-facility/

Please reblog this important information.

The name of his store is Gonzalez Auto Center, and google/Facebook reviews are always a great way to show how we feel about people like him.

What did he do wrong here?

First of all, everyone commenting awful things on this mans google review for his auto repair shop are terrible miserable people. He has tons of great, positive reviews from actual costumers from months ago and then he has tons of negative reviews from 20 minuets ago from you gremlins written while the shop was closed.

I actually read the article.

This man, Frank Gonzalez, is an immigrant himself.Gonzalez, who came to the United States from Cuba in 1971 with his family”. So if we’re going by leftist logic, you’re all racist for hating him.

He didn’t even call the police on the girl. The police were looking for her (Police look for people. It’s one of their many jobs, finding people. Especially a child, it’s pretty bad when they go missing. Normally rational thinking people consider missing children bad and the police finding missing children good.)

The girl wasn’t separated from her parents at the border by “evil” ICE agents. She said she was from Honduras, and she has no family,”

The girl was crying in the corner of Gonzalez’s car repair shop for over an hour. “The girl ran into his shop and hid in a corner behind a large shelf full of tools. It was a busy morning at the large auto shop that operates 14 bays. But she stayed there, crying, for more than an hour on Friday morning, refusing to move.”

Car repair shops are not places for children to hide.

Car repair shops are dangerous.

This man is not racist. He did the right thing by telling the police where she was. She is now safe and not running the streets alone.
