As a white woman, I am so, so sorry that white women keep voting for these disgusting Republican men. I’m heartbroken that Ted Cruz has been re-elected and I am fully aware that white people are dragging this country into fascism. I’m beyond ashamed and I will continue to work even harder as an ally for oppressed and minority groups. Your voices will. be. heard.

As a Jewish-American who had a grandmother survive the camps and testified at a War Tribunal? Please stop using “fascism” like it’s actually happening. You wouldn’t know fascism if it jumped up and bit you.

I apologize if I offended you, you have every right to your opinion. What your family and so many other Jewish families went through was horrific.

I use the word fascism because the politics of country right now are eerily similar to the beginnings of fascist regimes. I’ve attached some links to sources where people who have far more knowledge on the subject than myself talk about their findings.

If you have counter-arguments or articles towards the opposing view I’d love to see them! The last thing I want is for anyone to go through what your grandmother experienced, but I’m absolutely terrified that our country is leaning towards that right now. I’d be happy to listen to any argument that could help prove that wrong.

Again, I apologize if what I said offended you. That was genuinely not my intention!

I assure you we are not moving towards fascism at all.

Again, you are entitled to your opinion but I disagree. If you have any sources or any sort of argument to back up your claim I would be interested to see them!

How about a diary composed by my grandmother that documented the rise of nazism in the twenties to late thirties. I’ve read it and no parallels. And I’ve a father who in addition to a medical degree has a history degree from Norwich College in Interwar Period History. No parralels. There is no fascism here in the US. Before she died this March she voted for Trump and laughed at people saying he was a fascist.

Well, those are uncredited sources that I can’t see so that’s not exactly a solid argument. I thought I might be able to have an intelligent discussion with you on this topic, obviously I was wrong. I’ll leave you alone now, have a nice life!

Wow. So a family diary that was admitted as evidence by allied prosecutors and later the nation of Israel for war crimes prosecution isn’t credited. Amazing how y’all use our history and experiences to further your agenda, but disown our history when it doesn’t fit your narrative.

Show me the diary and I’ll be happy to admit I was wrong! 🙂

You got a plane ticket to Los Angeles. It’s on loan to the Simon Wiesenthal Center as part of their archives.

Well I don’t have the time nor the money to fly to LA and I’m assuming you don’t have any pictures of the diary, so I cannot possibly count it as a credible resource. I believe that puts us at a standstill. I’m pretty sure you’re going to respond to this post again but I’m finished responding to you! You haven’t changed my opinion and I’m sure I can’t change yours. Have a nice life! 👋🏼

“No one will believe the Jew.”- You, 2018. Once again stop offending my people and using our pain to further your agenda. It’s gross. You should consider actually visiting the Simon Wiesenthal Center and listening to what is recorded there. You have a nice day.

‘I don’t like listening to minorities when they go against my agenda.’

Pretty much, man.
