today that boy who have crush on me asked me if i want hang out with him sometimes and i told him no because i dont really see dating interesting atm. but i feel a little bad because i never had a partner and i think God wanted to make me less lonely and give me a good future husband or something, i feel like i disappointed Him. sorry for telling you this tbh its first time when i send you an ask. your blog always cheer me up,so maybe words from you will make me less stressed abt this situation

relentless-for-jesus:

Hi!

Aw, first time sending an ask to me!? Yay!! I apologize for the delayed response in answering this.

I believe an “open door” from God will give you peace. If you don’t feel comfort and/or peace about dating right now, I don’t think you have to. God knows your heart and His timing is always PERFECT. I think that He will send a guy your way when you are prepared to date and prepared to get married and all of that.

Don’t be afraid to pray about it! Just because a door opens doesn’t mean that God opened it! I believe that when God opens a door, you’ll KNOW it is from Him and you will be led to walk through it.

I hope that this helps and makes sense. God Bless you!!

it takes years to develop your craft. do not romanticize the idea of an ‘overnight success’. be a student. grow organically. get really good. hate your work. start over. find new ways to express the same ideas. the student becomes the master. your time will come.

Thank you.

Are you just happy and focused on God 24/7? Or do you struggle sometimes to stay happy? I do, do you have any advice?

john15-10:

Most of the time I’m just really happy and dont worry about anything except pleasing God.

If I struggle to stay happy it’s by my own sinful nature, I still don’t take lightly to disrespect, the other week my sister was laying hard disrespect on me and I threw a picture on the floor, went to her room and messed it up.

After my anger I apologized and cleaned her room though of course, but I’m sharing with you my struggles and I’ll be open about it, I don’t mind.

After I have my tantrum I pray, I go into my room, lights off cause I’m ashamed and I pray. I apologize, I ask God to forgive me and help me to do better, then I go back out to my sister and apologize.

Prayer is really important. Stay in the word. Watch a sermon on what you’re struggling with

Ten Brief Ways To Comment on Fic For People Who are Nervous To Comment on Fic

teaberryblue:

I’ve seen a few conversations lately about commenting on fic and how to do it if you get shy or anxious or don’t know what to say, or what to do if you’ve already kudosed a fic and wish you could kudos it a second time.

 1) "Just read this for a second time!”
2) “I loved this!”
2) “<3″
4) “This was great!”
5) “One of my favorites!”
6) “Extra kudos!”
7) Reply to another comment with “all of this!″ or “+1″
8) “Will definitely recommend this!”
9) “This was my favorite part: [paste quote]”
10) “Thanks for writing this!”

No one will be angry if you leave a short comment.  Your comment doesn’t have to be different or unique.  It will still bring a smile to people’s faces!

Another great thing you can do is add a fic to your bookmarks with a “favorites” selection (the little heart).  You don’t have to say anything and the author will know you cared enough to let other people know you liked it, because bookmarks often function as reclists to others.

You can also post a link to the fic on tumblr or another social media site!  Even if you’re too shy to tell the author how much you liked it, telling other people to read it will bring more readers, and maybe one of them will say just what you couldn’t say.
