As you may have heard, a Five Nights at Freddy’s movie is in the making. Gil Kenan has been set to direct the movie. Of course questions have been pouring in for him, which, to our delight, he has been answering in the best ways! The intimacy of the relationship between FNaF fans and one of the most important figures of the film makes for some serious excitement.
For those of you who aren’t keeping up with every tweet, here’s what you need to know:
The animatronics are REAL. In fact, they’re
In fact, have a look at the animatronics in the making! (I’m making believe the “ps” on the package next to the outlet stands for Parts & Services)
Best of all, they are sure to be made with synthetic fur.
This movie is going to feature FNaF lore, but follow an original plot with more than one Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria location.
Apparently he had gone straight to Scott Cawthon to get him involved in the process of creating this film, so rest assured: we’re getting the best stuff we could possibly get.
Perhaps he is also hinting something at the plot of the movie with this reply:
This might be suggesting that at least two victims in the movie, during which there will apparently be a lot of death, will be girls!
Also, Gil Kenan is just plain funny, in the best way possible: lighthearted and respectful. Bonus points for casting the Cupcake with the same name as my cupcake.
And I KNOW you all have been DYING to know, and I’m proud to say that YES, the most important question regarding the Five Nights at Freddy’s movie has been answered:
I don’t know about you, but we are so excited for this movie.
One of the best things about We Bare Bears is how like? Diverse the bg characters are? It feels so real tbh, like, THIS is more what a university class would look like, than just a room of 200 conventionally attractive white people. Granted the main human characters we have so far are white passing (but implied to be Korean in Chloe’s case), but at least the bg characters are all unique and nice! Same goes for all the episodes and the intro too, I just REALLY noticed in this scene today because it felt so refreshing to see a group of people that would ACTUALLY be in a class together.
EDIT: I would like to add that it was messed up that I called Chloe white passing and implied to be Korean. She is very much Korean, and what I meant was that other little kids watching may not pick up that she was Korean. But it was still messed up and probably racist of me to say that, and I apologize.
