King Knight, the knight adorned with gold armor, a gold crown, and red fluffy cape ruling over Pridemoor Keep.
Propeller Knight, the French fencer with a helmet I can’t really figure out how it actually works, commanding his Flying Machine.
Both knights are considered by the fandom as fancy and high in social status, but who actually outfancies the other? Well, King Knight isn’t true royalty to begin with, but the fandom appears to overlook one thing that could actually separate the two in terms of social status.
I’m not going to rehash the fact that King Knight is not true royalty, dammit. I’m going to give you some Tips For The Aspiring Social Climber. There is one detail that people are not aware of.

This is the Battle Royale. Anyway, the thing I wanted to talk about was what Propeller Knight and King Knight were doing.
King Knight is periodically lifting his goblet to sip his drink.
Propeller Knight is swishing his wine (well, the French are always associated with wine, and it looks red…) around.
What’s with this?
Propeller Knight is swishing his wine.
Wine tastes BETTER when it has contact with air, although it has to be consumed immediately. Wine, however, is best served cool, and Propeller has his palm under it. However, I believe that it is wine due to recurring examples of using misconception to actually point to something (Shield Knight’s helmet is similar to Valkyrie helms and since Valkyries are Norse aka Vikings, look at our shovelers being the prime example).
And in medieval times, wine was hard to acquire, especially good wine. The French in particular developed winemaking, they have been doing it for centuries. So, if it’s hard to acquire, you need money.
One more thing to note that you won’t really know how to make wine taste better by swishing and slurping (yes, you slurp it in order to taste its fullness) unless you are a rich person for a long time. Until now. You just sip the wine. You don’t swish it. The steps are see, swish, sip, slurp, and then swallow or spit.
It’s likely King Knight only had a taste of wine when he got to that throne and wrapped himself in that floofy cape blanket I actually want for myself. Propeller Knight, on the other hand, seems to have been born with the stuff.
fangamer displayed the little buddies at PAX west! they can be removed from their bases, and we managed to get a sneak peek of lesser dog’s easter egg!
Imagine how you might feel if your wildest and most wonderful fantasies were brought to life. That’s probably how a child would feel if their drawings of strange and wondrous characters were turned into real-life plush toys, which is exactly what Budsies does.
Budsies takes children’s drawings and reinterprets them as 16-inch-tall hypoallergenic plush toys – but they’ll take playful adults’ drawings, too.
NO DON’T GIVE THIS TO TUMBLR USERS THIS IS A GRAVE MISTAKE
CAN PEOPLE OF ALL AGES DO THIS
BECAUSE IMAGINE IF AN ARTIST WANTED A PLUSH OF THEIR OC
You can also make a plush out of a selfie/picture.
Budsies are introducing Petsies soon. To decide who the first 100 people to get Petsies, Budsies will be holding a raffle. Raffle tickets are free and winners are random. Petsies regularly cost $199, but the first 100 raffle winners can order their Petsies for $99 and the next 1,000 winners pay $149. The first 100 winners announced March 15th. Additional batches of winners will be announced weekly thereafter.
I made a walkthrough of my process for drawing faceted stones! Judging by the timestamps from the screenshots I took, drawing this one stone took an hour and three minutes, although I know I went and checked tumblr a couple times while I was working, so let’s just call it an hour.
Now MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
This walkthrough assumes you already know how to use layer masks, the clone stamp, and the lasso tool. There’s also one part where I didn’t label it, but I inverted the selection so I could keep my lines consistent. It’s in the third image.
Unfortunately I can’t really help with colour choice and the actual colouring of the pinwheel shape that makes up the back facets, but you can kind of see that I tended to colour with lines that cut across the facets and and kept the outer parts of the facets darker. It would probably be best to find a reference to work from!
This particular cut of stone is called the ‘brilliant’ cut.
There’s actually a lot of internal reflection business that goes on in a stone, but I elected to ingore all of it since at a distance you can’t really tell anyway.
now GO FORTH AND DAZZLE YOUR FRIENDS WITH YOUR SPARKLE
I’m not sure if anyone has pointed this out but Reaper’s mask isn’t suppose to be a skull. It’s a barn owl.
Reaper is Afro-Lantinx and I’m sure since he was from L.A. he probably grew up with Mexican folklore. And as someone who grew up with those stories and superstitions I can only assume that Reaper adopted a barn owl looking mask to represent death.
The barn owl is an omen of death in a lot of Mexican folklore and superstitions. There’s also La Lechuza which is a witch that takes the form of a black cat or barn owl and stalks it’s victim until their death arrives.
Like I’m so freaking happy. Like Gabriel Reyes grew up with the stories and superstitions of his culture and when he died and took on the personification of death it wasn’t a skull that came to mind for him. It was the owl.
Even in wraith form he looks like an owl flying.
My life is perfect. The over dramatic latino man has come full circle for me. I love it.
LMM draws goatees on Hamilton when he signs the ten. Just thought you should know.

Ahh, here is a project that snowballed out of control. I only wanted to draw Hamilton on the mario super star (he’s non-stop, geddit? geddit?), but then decided to turn the whole show into a SNES video game cause I’m crazy like that. There’s four parts to this and I’ll post one a day (I’m still tweaking the ends).
Part 1 of 4: Please click on the pics for descriptions/mission for each game.
edit: if the captions are not working (thanks tumblr), here they are:

Hello! this is the GEM theme by nyctothemes! Unfortunately I can’t do all the gems, but I hope just these three are okay 🙂 I may not have a info page for this specific theme, but I do have a general help page!
