Not even close! Christians are not called to hate ANYBODY. Proverbs 10:12 – Hatred stirs up conflict, but love covers over all wrongs and 1 John 2:11 But whoever hates his brother is in the darkness and walks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.

Instead, rathermore, we are instructed to LOVE everybody.

Romans 12:10 Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves and

Ephesians 4:32

Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

You see, Christians may not agree with homosexuality/LGBT, but that does NOT mean they hate them. As stated in the verses above, we are called to show EVERYBODY love and restrain from hatred, wrath, violence, etc.

There are many extremist Christians, however, who have made a bad name for the majority of Christians. Some are extremely violent and aggressive towards gays, persecuting them and just being overall jerks. Please keep in mind that is NOT the way a real Christian acts!!! I have discussed these things with three different local pastors of mine, and they all told me the same thing: We are to treat the LGBT community with love, respect and kindness, just as we do with any other human being on the planet.

So, to sum it up; Christians are NOT, I repeat, NOT supposed to hate LGBT members/supporters, and they are NOT supposed to hate anybody in general. They are supposed to love everyone, and share God’s joy and hope.

As a Christian, I hold these beliefs, yes. But, just as I mentioned above, I may not support LGBT, BUT that doesn’t mean I hate them. No no no! I have many LGBT friends, as I said, and I LOVE THEM SO MUCH. They are WONDERFUL!! I will love everyone just as God has loved me. And believe me, He loves EVERYBODY, no matter what your sexuality, gender, race, or whatever is. He loves you, and I do too!

Anon asking about my opinion on transgenders, it falls under this category.

Can i just say that i love you for respecting the LGBT community. My step mom’s side of the family is mostly Christian and they dispise me for being LGBT. You’re like, the first person i know who listens to the part where you’re supposed to love everyone?? I just wanna say thank you.

Of course my friend! It’s my life purpose to spread the love of Jesus and get as many people to heaven as I can. When He was on Earth, He loved EVERYBODY. He acquainted Himself with the lowly and the poor, the people that the strict religious people of their times despised. Jesus told us to love everybody, whether they are a neighbor or an enemy. It is very sad to see how many so-called Christians have become so hostile. Christianity may disagree with LGBT but it by no means endorses violence or hate. Any Christian who practices such violence has forgotten their way and who they’re truly following… Jesus.

The Greatest Man in history is Jesus. He had no servants, yet they called Him Master. He had no degree, yet they called Him Teacher. He had no medicines, yet they called Him Healer. He had no army, yet kings feared Him. He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world. He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him. He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today.

Purpose.
