God has been waiting billions of years for a lifeform to be able to study atoms and quarks and quantum entanglement to really appreciate how much painfully intricate effort he took to make the universe. Humans are finally there, but they think it’s all evidence that God must not be real.

Writing prompts just got really real

This isn’t even a writing prompt, this blog is just spitting straight truth now.

Truth is, we have difficulty trusting God because we are so used to being let down by people and we’re afraid He will let us down too. We must remove this fear from our lives, because it’s completely false. People are deeply flawed and deeply hurt, and they will always let us down. God never will. Jesus loves us and even though we are wretched and broken, and He lived a perfect life, Christ still died for us. What a Savior we have! He is true love, and we can trust Him with our whole heart because He is above and beyond anything we could ever ask or imagine.

Can we just talk about Joseph? I don’t mean Jesus’ earthly father I mean Joseph; Jacob’s son, one of the tribes etc. He was SOLD by his BROTHERS.. betrayed. I can’t help but think of Christ when I read Joseph’s story. To think despite being sold by his brothers, becoming a slave, being accused a crime he did not do, thrown in jail for said crime, being forgotten etc. God raised him up to be just below Pharaoh. That is SO cool. Not only that but:

“But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.”

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭50:20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Despite what his brothers did he forgives them. He doesn’t hold it over them because he recognized that what they meant for evil God meant for good.

Honestly I LOVE this story and highly suggest reading it if you haven’t already, or even if you have. It starts from about Genesis 37 on until the end of Genesis.

I agree! It’s a lovely story and incredibly encouraging, a good reminder too 🙂
