Satan likes to attack us by making us question the idea that God even loves us at all. Every time you doubt God’s love, or start thinking things like “why would He love us when we’re so awful?”, recognize those thoughts for what they are: spiritual attack.

Satan makes us question the love of God because he knows that condemnation leads to destruction

Conviction [should] lead(s) us to think, “I made this mistake; I will take a step back, bring it to God, and by His love and grace I will learn and move forward.” (John 1.9, Philippians 3.12-14)

Condemnation, however is a slippery slope. It leads us to think, “I do/I think, therefore I am; I’m already awful anyway, so I may as well just keep doing awful things.” (Galatians 5.1)

It is a snare, it is a trap, and we need to recognize it as such

And the other version of this, “I’m so horrible that I can’t possibly be redeemed and God couldn’t want anything to ever do with me.” which I think a LOT of people stumble into.

What’s your opinion on lgbt discrimination? Do you feel gay people deserve the hate they get?

john15-10:

I think it’s awful, it’s awful for them to be hurt. You don’t hurt someone who struggles with sexual sins such as premarital sex. (Especially not if they’re male, they’re sadly even praised for that! Disgusting!)

They should be welcomed with open arms, yes. You’re a sinner, we all are. Let God embrace you, let him help you with your burdens, you can be free of sin.

The hardest part of this path will be to recognize that homosexuality is a sin.

Don’t be alarmed; all of us are sinners. All of us have had our spirit broken and then rebuilt stronger through Christ’s love.

Let him build you up from the bottom, let him show you that he can break your chains.

It’s going to be a hard road, but the life of grace is far better than a life of sin.

God will not lead you into temptation. He keeps his promises.

Are you just happy and focused on God 24/7? Or do you struggle sometimes to stay happy? I do, do you have any advice?

john15-10:

Most of the time I’m just really happy and dont worry about anything except pleasing God.

If I struggle to stay happy it’s by my own sinful nature, I still don’t take lightly to disrespect, the other week my sister was laying hard disrespect on me and I threw a picture on the floor, went to her room and messed it up.

After my anger I apologized and cleaned her room though of course, but I’m sharing with you my struggles and I’ll be open about it, I don’t mind.

After I have my tantrum I pray, I go into my room, lights off cause I’m ashamed and I pray. I apologize, I ask God to forgive me and help me to do better, then I go back out to my sister and apologize.

Prayer is really important. Stay in the word. Watch a sermon on what you’re struggling with

Singing to the Firing Squad

I trusted in the Lord when I said, “I am greatly afflicted.” Psalm 116:10

Two men convicted of drug trafficking had been on death row for a decade. While in prison, they learned of God’s love for them in Jesus, and their lives were transformed. When it came time for them to face the firing squad, they faced their executioners reciting the Lord’s Prayer and singing “Amazing Grace.” Because of their faith in God, through the power of the Spirit they were able to face death with incredible courage.

They followed the example of faith set by their Savior, Jesus. When Jesus knew that His death was imminent, He spent part of the evening singing with friends. It’s remarkable that He could sing under such circumstances, but what’s even more remarkable is what He sang. On that night, Jesus and His friends had a Passover meal, which always ends with a series of Psalms known as the Hallel, Psalms 113–118. Facing death, that night Jesus sang about the “cords of death” entangling Him (Psalm 116:3). Yet He praised God’s faithful love (117:2) and thanked Him for salvation (118:14). Surely these Psalms comforted Jesus on the night before His crucifixion.

Jesus’s trust in God was so great that even as He approached His own death—a death He had done nothing to deserve!—He chose to sing of God’s love. Because of Jesus, we too can have confidence that whatever we face, God is with us.

MARK 14:16-26 ESV

and wherever he enters, say to the master of the house, ‘The Teacher says, Where is my guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?’ And he will show you a large upper room furnished and ready; there prepare for us.“ And the disciples set out and went to the city and found it just as he had told them, and they prepared the Passover. And when it was evening, he came with the twelve. And as they were reclining at table and eating, Jesus said, “Truly, I say to you, one of you will betray me, one who is eating with me.” They began to be sorrowful and to say to him one after another, “Is it I?” He said to them, “It is one of the twelve, one who is dipping bread into the dish with me. For the Son of Man goes as it is written of him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been better for that man if he had not been born.” And as they were eating, he took bread, and after blessing it broke it and gave it to them, and said, “Take; this is my body.” And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he gave it to them, and they all drank of it. And he said to them, “This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many. Truly, I say to you, I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.” And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

relentless-for-jesus:

If you are in Christ, you have God given authority!

Over depression

Over anxiety

Over pain

Over hurt

Over stress

Over sickness

Over disease

Over anything not of God!

The Bible says that what WE (those of us in The Lord) loose on earth WE loose in Heaven and what WE bind on earth WE bind in Heaven. We can loose what is apart of God’s will and bind things that go against God’s will.

Stop letting depression and anxiety and sickness and disease wreck your life. These are not apart of God’s will for you. You may experience them, but you can tell THEM what to do. You don’t have to let them make you sad and down and low. You have the God given authority to bind them here on earth in Jesus name!! Anxiety may be there to attack, but you can bind what it tries to do to you! Depression may be there to attack, but you can bind what it tries to do to you!

I have chosen to no longer let depression wreck me. When I feel depression creep up, I will use The Word of God and speak against it. Depression can have NO place in my life because I don’t have to give it a place.

Stop being run down and raise up against what is hurting you! You pray to The Lord to help you, but if you are in Christ, God has already given you the ability and authority to bind and hault what is wrecking your life!!!!!!!!!! BIND IT In Jesus name!

Don’t let anything not of God have a place in your life. Don’t give anything not of God an opportunity. Speak against it with The Word of God, BIND IT.

I feel so busy and overwhelmed I don’t know how can fit spending time with God

relentless-for-jesus:

You have to make time! Even if you have to get up earlier or go to bed later to spend time with God, do it! Even if you have to put some things to the side to spend more time with God, do it! If you want to see a shift because of a move of God, you have to make time for God. You have to.

Spending time with God will bring you clarity and peace and joy and so many more great things! Make time for God. Don’t put other things before Him. Take everything and put it second and make God FIRST in all that you do. Put God first!

Matthew 6:33

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

Proverbs 3:5-6

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.”

I hope that this helps and makes sense. God Bless you!
