For not having any major fights about the plot or ships or whatever because f the comic. For not ruining the comic for others. For everyone being able to enjoy it and laugh and cry together without any discourse breaking out.
Thank you guys for this amazing response to the comic. I’m really proud of you, of us as a community ❤
Huge thanks from us too. Super proud of you all!

The fact that we are all excited about scout and spy’s relationship being canon, heavy and medic being completely bad ass, and sniper being naked. Proves that tf2 is the best fandom out there.
What a great community…
Cheers! To the thoughtful, kind, and humorous community surrounding tf2 that lots of use are sort of
We have entered a Team Fortress 2 renaissance. People who have left in the past year are coming back to knock the cobwebs off the door. We greet them with the new comic. It’s surreal, it’s like more and more of us were leaving before, but we’ve got a full house now. Everyone is hearing about it. We’re trending. Trending #1. WHOEVER SAID WE WERE GOING DOWN, LOOK AT US NOW. WE ARE GOING NOWHERE. WE ARE HERE TO STAY. YOU CAN’T DEFEAT US! WE HAVE NO SOULS, NO PANTS, LOTS OF HONEY, AND EVEN MORE SUBMACKEENS. TF2 IS DYING YOU SAY? OVER MEDIC’S DEAD BODY.
Many non-tf2 fans may be asking “What the flipping hell is going on right now?” Well….
TF2 is not only a very fun game, it also has a lot of lore. Many characters, revealed only through the TF Comics, a huge and wonderful world explaining the life and world the game characters live in and, above all, explaining why they fight. The whole hype is about the 6th issue. This comic had been delayed for over one year, until we got the amazing news:
But what this post is mainly supposed to be is an invitation. Before this week ends, before the 6th comic comes out, I invite you to read all the 5 previous comics, the catch up comic, the update comics, and who knows, maybe you’ll even get interested into the game!
Everyone: To learn a language you need to speak to people who speak the language!
Me, autistic, anxious, dysphoric about my voice, deathly afraid of humans and struggles to hold a conversation in my fucking native language and needs subtitles for everything: Fuck
Not to derail the point of this post, but as a former language teacher– if you want to learn a new language but can’t actually talk to people who speak the language (or even if you can but just want to give yourself an edge), the best thing to do is expose yourself to authentic input in the target language. This means listening to/ watching/ reading media made for native speakers of the language. Materials designed for language learners are easier to process, but they can also be miles away from how the language is actually used. Watch tv, listen to music, read news articles. even if you’re just engaging with children’s media in the target language, or you’re watching with subtitles, you’re using the language in the same way that native speakers do, and that’s almost as good (and oftentimes way more accessible) than talking with native speakers.
the politics of light and dark are everywhere in our vocabulary…psa to writers: subvert this, reveal whiteness and lightness as sometimes artificial and violent, and darkness as healing, the unknown as natural
Some ideas for bad things that are white/light:
lightning, very hot fire
snow storms, ice, frost on crops
some types of fungus/mold
corpses, ghosts, bones, a diseased person
clothing, skin tone, hair, etc. of a bad person
fur, teeth, eyes of an attacking animal/monster
bleached out deserts, dead trees, lifeless places
poison
Some ideas for good things that are black/dark:
rich earth/soil
chocolate, truffles, wine, cooked meat
friendly animals/pets/creatures
a character’s favorite vehicle, technology, coat, etc.
a pleasant night
hair, skin tone, clothing, etc. of a good person
undisturbed water of a lake
the case/container of something important
valued wood, furniture, art
velvet
Think to burn, to infect, to bleach vs. to enrich, to protect, to be of substance.
