Black people and others don’t get to suddenly say “I’m white, guys!” and shed all the institutional racism and prejudice they face. This white lady, though, got to do blackface and ended up profiting from it by getting a job that should have gone to someone who actually faced that prejudice all their lives and couldn’t just one day decide to skip it all by taking off makeup.
